Gesunda Bike Park is Sweden’s hottest new biking destination. It is a small mountain with big features, including a great network of downhill trails and the best freeride tracks in the land, namely Magic Carpet and the newly built freeride trail ‘Xcelerator’. The new freeride trail is named after one of the fastest rollercosters in the world, and for good reason. It is super fast with lots of features to the tune of table tops, step downs, gap jumps, wall rides. It is guaranteed to provide you the greatest adrenaline rush on two wheels and keep you frothing at the mouth all the way down the course.Friday is an open day riding, or training for those who are competing in Saturdays main competiton, the Sram Chainless Massacre. The competition will be on the new trail Xcelerator. Later in the evening, we will be showing a selection of the latest freeride movies on the big screen. If you are pumped up to ride after watching the pro’s hit it, you can go for a special midnight run on your bike as we will start up the chair lifts again at 23:45!!
Saturday is race day for the Sram Chainless Massacre. Racers will be battling down the course without the help of pedal power, forcing riders to use every part of the course to gain speed and stay off the brakes as much as possible. A true test of bike handling skills and using the terrain to your advantage. Every rider entering will be presented with a new chain from Sram.
Saturday evening we are going to rock your socks off with a Red Bull party.
It will be held at Gesunda’s Topstugan which is recognized as one of Sweden’s best views. Red Bull DJ Zaki will be at the helm giving us the best beats until the early hours of the morning.
Sunday: open day riding. A day of rest for some, but not for those who want to rip up the last few hours before it is time to pack and head home. If you feeling hungry there will be an open festival bbq from 12 so you can grill your own road-kill lunch, or eat in the wårdhus, choice is yours.
