Pinkbike Poll: What Would You Change About Red Bull Rampage?
Better video. Great camerawork and drones and go pros and videographers, for sure, but still the event could be captured more and better I think, and we could lessen the whole "you need to be there in person to understand" thing. Sometimes too much contrast between dark and light took away from the awesomeness of the lines and stunts. Just like how pro mainstream sport coverage filming incrementally improves, gotta keep feet on the gas there too. Wish each run had more video cameras and angles on the lines.

This bike is super burly for a hardtail and totally rips but sadly I realized I'm too old for it and realized I need full suspension for even usual mellow trail rides. My beat up knees and back are screaming for rear suspension. As perfect condition as non-brand new bike can be - just a little dirt here and there. I just got it in early June, 3 riding hours on it. Retail is $2199 + 7.25% tax = $2358 at a shop or online. So, you'd save around $433. Firm on the price. Cash only. As you can see it's essentially brand new and I'm already losing a lot toward the next full suspension I need. It laughs at uphills and on a lot of trails, if you have the skills, you'll keep up with full suspension trail and enduro bikes on the downs and drop them easily on the ups. If you have a full suspension bike already, it will make you smoother on it. If you're trying to cut times massively on XC or light all mountain trails you usually ride, this is totally your ticket. With its amazingly short chainstays (415mm, shorter than most on 27.5" wheeled bikes), it's agile and playful and manuals and jumps surprisingly well. Because none came with bike, the pedals in the picture are *not included. Will box very very nicely and ship to wherever if buyer pays for shipping (I'll get the cardboard bike box and foam from my local shop). Here's Kona's write up: Who ever said that a hardtail couldn't be as fun as other trail bikes? Who assumed a 29-inch hardtail couldn't have an aggressive trail geometry? This is what a full-suspension bike looks like without all the moving bits in the rear. It has progressive and aggressive geometry that begs to do more than you'd expect from a hardtail, handling itself with surprising aplomb. So be careful: the Honzo AL/DL doesn't coerce you into situations that you normally wouldn't consider on a hardtail. You might find yourself with a grin so wide it hurts. Nukeproof Pro Snap 4x/Dirt jump bike. Ridden maybe six times, one scratch on handlebar from transport, some dirt on tires, otherwise perfect condition. I have 5 bikes, and I'm getting more into skiing and needing to off load some bikes. This bike rips, extremely light and stiff, and versatile - it's comfortable and really fun on light XC rides, and absolutely rips four cross, or dirt jumps, and if you have the skills (I definitely don't!), slopestyle. Mechanically the bike is perfect and I'm more than comfortable saying that it's virtually brand new. Nukeproof made two versions of this bike, "comp" and "pro". This is the pro. They also made a short and long version, this is the long. Besides the pedals I added to the bike, it's stock. Everything was top end, so there was nothing that I wanted to upgrade. Componentry is all SRAM XO. 2012 Nukeproof Snap Pro: Frame: Double-welded custom 7005 series aluminium w/ replaceable dropouts Fork: RockShox Argyle RCT Solo Air, 100mm, 20mm Maxle Lite Handlebar: Nukeproof Warhead 760 riser bar, 25mm Stem: Nukeproof Warhead, 50mm Grips: Nukeproof lock-on Headset: Nukeproof 44IESS Chainset: Truvativ Descendant GXP, 36t, 170mm Chainguide: Truvativ X0 ISCG05, 36-40t Chain: SRAM PC-1071 Cassette: SRAM PG-1070, 11-26t, 10-speed Shifters: SRAM X0 Rear derailleur: SRAM X0 Brakes: Avid X0, 180mm rotors Saddle: Nukeproof Plasma Snap Seatpost: Nukeproof Warhead, inline Tyres: Maxxis High Roller MaxxPro 60a, 26x2.35in Wheelset: Nukeproof Generator Race (110mm x 20mm through-axle front hub, 135mm quick-release rear) Weight: 12.3kg RRP: £2,099.99 http://www.bikeradar.com/us/news/article/2012-nukeproof-complete-bikes-first-look-32991/ I'm happy to ship if the buyer pays shipping and we can agree on a shipping/payment method.
