Put down the tanning oil and the ice cream and give your bike some fresh new rubber for the summer months.

Intense Tyre Systems are pleased to announce the arrival of not one but two new tyres which will be landing at Silverfish in the next few weeks. The first tyre is a MTB specific version of a popular BMX tread pattern designed for hard pack trails and street missions. Available in a 26x2.25 size the Micro Knobby tyre offers the 26-inch rider a foldable Kevlar bead with a single ply, light weight casing designed to maximize grip while maintaining a low rolling resistance. The Micro Knobby features Intense Tyres’ C3 Homegrown Rubber Compound and each tyre offers 7,500 ramped knobs designed to be fast rolling; ideal for riding everything from trails, skate parks, cross country and 4X.

RRP £34.95

The Second tyre landing this summer is the Intense Tyre Systems 29 EX/DC Lite tyre. This 29’er specific tyre is designed for XC and All Mountain trail duties and features a single ply side wall, Kevlar bead and a dual XC compound tread. Available in a 29x2.25” size only and features a dual compound tread which gives a longer lasting, harder wearing and better braking center while a softer shoulder rubber keeps grip to a maximum. The tread pattern is based on the popular System 4 26in tyre with a lower profile, faster rolling and lower tread pattern.

The micro knobby is way smaller than the knobs on the small block 8. I have them on my S&M. 20in and 24in versions are only 20 bucks at Dan's comp.I like 'em alot and will prboably get some 26'ers for my MOB.
