What we're looking for:
Pinkbike seeks an experienced full time Digital Graphic Designer for our office in Squamish, BC. You will be responsible for designing and helping direct the evolution of the brand. Specific responsibilities include all aspects of brand aesthetic management - from logos, graphics, products and web design. This includes working closely with the Senior Graphic Designer, Head of Brand, product managers, collaborating with designers and developers to create user flows, wire frames, and interaction specifications, as well as leading and mentoring the creative team. You will have the opportunity to work with a top notch technical and product team that will showcase your work on a website with 100 million page views per year.

Role and Responsibilities
Our high energy, fast-paced work environment will see you doing a diverse set of tasks. If you’d started last week, your responsibilities would have included:
• Responsible for conceptualization, iteration and implementation of design solutions that meet marketing and product strategies.
• Create brand-wide style guides
• Take ownership of design and web templates and optimize for both internal and client use.
• Process requests from multiple internal clients across a broad range of Web, Mobile, Video, Branding, and Presentations.
• Manage multiple deliverables and create strong impactful designs and graphics that are functional and elegant.
• Communicate when workload and deliverables are at risk or exceed capabilities.
• Participate and contribute in company brainstorming and development processes.
• Create brand-wide style guides

What you'll need to bring:
• Post-secondary education, preferably in a relevant field.
• 2-4 years of experience as a lead graphic designer, senior designer or art director.
• Ability to rapidly produce multiple design directions.
• A significant portfolio that showcases deep visual and interaction design skills.
• Ability to rapidly produce multiple design directions.
• Expected to be proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite, and experienced in designing for web and print.
• Deep understanding of mobile first designs and UX across various digital channels
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Strong typographic skills
• Excellent file management skills, from project dockets to Photoshop layer names
• Strong communication skills
• Previous experience in a high volume, tech environment considered an asset
• Must have a high level of attention to detail and multi-tasking.
