Opening Day at the Mammoth Mountain Bike Park is closing in and the team at Mammoth has some big plans in store for the 2016 season. Huge events, new trails and the same commitment to progression.

Mammoth Mountain Bike Park

5 New Trails:

- Smooth Operator: New signature jump trail that will pick up where pipeline left off. A series of step-ups, step-downs and some flowy natural features will make it an easy favorite.

- DisoTech: Intermediate, gravity fed pump track off the discovery chair, great for the groms, warm ups and getting everything dialed in

- Boomerang: A classic advanced hand-built downhill trail taking advantage of the natural terrain that makes Mammoth one of the best places to ride in the world. You'll know you're at Mammoth on this trail.

- Midtown: An intermediate flow trail from McCoy down to Main lodge, midtown helps ease the progression from the Discovery Zone to tackling longer intermediate terrain like "off the top." It's the gateway trail the grownups warned you about.

- Recoil will finally get the ending it deserves. A new lower section with more jumps and a huge step-down under chair 6 will be a fitting completion to what's already an iconic line.

2 of Mountain Biking's Biggest Events
- USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships, July 12-17
- Kamikaze Bike Games, Sept. 15-18
