Race Preview: Gravity Enduro Series 2019 - Round 3 Slade Valley

Hopefully tomorrow will have less of this

The third stop of the Vitus Gravity Enduro Series 2019 to take place in Slade Valley, just 30min East from Dublin. 250 riders will get into the wet muddy trails tomorrow to battle for the podium. Greg Callaghan and Kelan Grant, without EWS racers on the near weeks, will also participate and add to the already big number of top-notch riders looking to get the overall win of the series. After a couple of days of the usual Irish weather, with no stop rain, the terrain is completely soaked and wet, roots like snakes will be the big concern for the weekend.

The race will be a short but physical one, 6 stages in 15km with 570m climb, the longest stage is also the fastest, the 6, that has a surprise for everyone on the lower section, approximately 100m of hard climbing that will make more than one rider get their heart rate through the roof. Shortest section SS2 with just 545m but -82m descent, meaning there will be some step sections to deal with and with current muddy trails, it will be hard to stay on the saddle.
