The fourth and final round of the 2016 SCOTT Enduro Cup season is on Aug. 28 at Deer Valley Resort. Known for technical descents, fast berm turns and pristine downhill specific singletrack, Deer Valley will force riders to be quick on the draw and thoughtful in their line choice. The course map will be released to the public on Wed. Aug. 24 on endurocupmtb.com.

The question we are all asking is who will take it all home after the Deer Valley race? Here's a look at the current season standings...

Jubal Davis, 25 of Denver, CO, began his premiere season of enduro racing with an eighth place finish in Moab, UT. The Midwest motocross native quickly excelled in the ranks, finishing in second place after both the Angel Fire and Sun Valley two-day races. Davis heads to Deer Valley with 342 points, tied with the 2015 SCOTT Enduro Cup champion, Macky Franklin. Franklin, 28 of Taos, NM has demonstrated consistency throughout the season, finishing top five in all three races. Chris Boice, 31 of Angel Fire, NM, sits not far behind with 324 points after an impressive first place finish in Angel Fire race and fourth place finish in Sun Valley.

Salt Lake City local and youngest rider in the women’s pro/open category, Lia Westermann, 17, leads the charge with 330 points. Westermann has finished in the top five at all three Enduro Cup stops this year, including an impressive third place finish in Sun Valley. Followed closely by longtime Enduro Cup competitor, Ileana Anderson, 29 of Park City, UT, with 294 points. Porsha Murdock, 24 of Bend, OR, came out of nowhere taking second place in both the Angel Fire and Sun Valley races, putting her at 264 points. Murdock will not be racing in Deer Valley, opening the field for Leigh Bowe, 34 of Frisco, CO, who has improved her finishing position at each race this season. A sixth place finish in Sun Valley set her up with 216 points. Bowe must finish in thirteenth or better to surpass Murdock; and a fifth place finish in Deer Valley will guarantee her the third place podium spot for the season. Syd Schulz, 25 of Taos, NM, trails closely behind with 168 points

I was up there a few saturdays ago and it started raining! They shut down the lift for an hour. Didn't rain enough to make any difference though.

@sb666: Its getting really bad, except for AF canyon; they must have had a microburst or something because the ridge 157 trails look pretty good as of Saturday.

If they're going down the NCS trail, which it appears they are, it will likely be the most technical track all year for them. Little Niagra's developed an easy ride around it looks like too, that feature was nasty when forced to stay center and the easier right line wasn't there.
