Jimi from Sharpey's Cycles in Burnaby B.C. recently sent out this letter asking to spread the word that they are looking for some help in their time of need.
I'll let his letter do the talking, please read."Our 4 year old son Ryder has been in at the Childrens Hospital for the past 24 days and has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain cancer. As we are a family run business, my wife and I have been pulled out of everyday life and the running of the shop to care for our son at the hospital. We are lucky enough to have friends that are trying to do their best to run the shop and keep the doors open but of course are struggling to keep up at this busy time of year. We wanted to to ask everyone to ask around to see if they know of anyone whould might be kind enough to volunteer a bit of thier time to help out at the shop. This can be shop floor or mechanics. Any help would be very much appreciated. We ask for your prayers and positive energy to help our son and our family make it through this. For updates please visit:

I'm looking for a job right now and in the spare time i have right now i would be glad to help out. I could just help around the shop move things etc...
I'll help out as much as i can but I'm defiantly not a bike mechanic and I would be better at just " Helping " physical labor.
Ill bus down there in a hour or so and see if you need any help ( have to wait an hour to wake my brother up... )
Thanks- Grant
