Victorian Enduro Tour: Barjarg, Round One

The first round of the Victorian Enduro Tour was held at the infamous Barjarg, with tracks tailored towards downhill bikes rather than enduro bikes, it was a very tough 'bout for most punters. Elite riders from both the men and women's fields took on five stages, whilst the rest took on four.



The stages were very varied and technical, a lot of people found Stage 1 to be a hard task first thing in the morning, given the name 'Flow Track' quite a few years ago, it has now become eroded and there are many exposed rocks which catch out almost every rider. As opposed to the 'Downhill' track, which was built a long time ago when downhill bikes had less travel than modern day enduro bikes, but it's now arguably the tamest track on the hill.

Racers now have quite a large break in between races, with the next round being held at Mount Beauty in January.
