Video: Asa Vermette & Zanna Logar Win Downhill Southeast TTC - Race Replay Show

Mar 7, 2024
by Gravity Cooperative

Kicking off the 9th season for Downhill Southeast in style with a rainy start for round 1 at the Trials Training Center in Sequatchie, TN. An absolutely stacked pro field of men and women has this looking to be one of our most exciting race shows to date!

With the race weekend starting off with rain, some racers were being chill while others, like Asa Vermette here were stoked. "Where I'm from in Colorado we don't get to ride in mud very often so this is sick!"

A combination of slick rocks and landing in the squish kept everyone on edge, but course conditions only improved throughout the weekend

Can't wait to see what Asa does on the WC scene. I think he has a chance to be one of the best we've seen.

Shout out for how hard they work on these replay shows. Corporate big dogs could learn a thing or twelve.

Damn. Asa putting 6 seconds into Grice (and 10 seconds on Neko) on a ~2 minute course is kinda nuts. It's not like Grice is moving slow.

Congrats to Zanna on another Pro win! Her skill, athleticism, and composure were on full display in these conditions. Zanna & Raina are both killing it... Always a blast seeing them shred at the parks! The video production is outstanding.

I raced this event. My first one. The video is awesome but doesn't come close to showing how steep the course was. Video's rarely do. It was amazing how fast the good riders go! My race run video is on youtube under jspelaston for perspective of a normal person riding this course.

We were riding close by at Windrock the day of the race last weekend. It was sooo fuggin wet and ungodly slick! ASA is a beast. We don't ride mud much back home he says.
