You guys want to live the dream? Well here is your chance. A job this summer at the number 1 mountain biking spot in all of British Columbia, Whistler Mountain Bike Park.Have you ever dreamed about leaving the nine to five and doing something more exciting with your life? How about spending your summer riding the best trails on the planet, whilst living and working in the MTB mecca that is Whistler BC? Well, Ticket2Ride want you!

Ticket2RideBC are looking for enthusiastic and passionate riders to fill a variety of roles this coming summer season (May - October).

From their unique riders' centre, Ticket2RideBC provide a huge range of fully guided and catered XC, All-Mountain, Freeride and Downhill holidays alongside epic backcountry floatplane and Heli-drop adventures.

For the summer 2008 season they have the following vacancies:

o Resort Manager?
o All Mountain Guides?
o Driver / Chalet Assistant?
o Experienced Chalet Hosts?
o Workshop Manager / Mechanic

Applicants for Guiding and Support roles should be at least 22 years old and have the following experience/qualifications:

· The Scottish TCL/MBL award (or similar) ?
· Experience of guiding groups of up to 6 riders of varying ability levels ?
· A valid 8 hr first aid certificate ?
· A current clean drivers licence ?
· Good bike/mechanical repair knowledge ?
· Ideally some experience of coaching/instruction?
· Be a solid all round rider with a good standard of fitness and the inclination to ride up hill as well as down

Above all their guides need to be great communicators and motivators with the ability to work well in a busy team environment and maintain high spirits at all times.

The Resort Manager role is an extremely responsible position, as the successful candidate will be given ownership of the day to day running of the resort office and accommodation. This highly focused, customer-facing role would therefore suit a more mature individual.

Responsibilities will include:

· Managing staff?
· Arranging transfers?
· Making external bookings?
· Budget management?
· Implementing staff incentive schemes?
· Weekly guest welcome meetings

Ideally, applicants should have some experience in a similar role in the leisure or recreation industry.

As well as spending your summer riding in the best place on the planet, you'll also receive the following:

· Full season lift pass?
· Great deals on bikes?
· Parts support

All successful applicants will be required to organise a Canadian working visa, which can be obtained though Bunac. However, numbers are strictly limited so early application is advised.
