Surprised no one has noticed that yet, my dad has a problem with the nerves in his right hand and can't control the break very well (it's either off or fully on), so we put both on the left side to make things a little easier. He doesn't ride anything very technical so it's fine.

 oh thats cool mate! it reminded me of this dude i saw out on the trails a while back, he was on a GT hardtail, and we started talking (we were stopped by the pumptrack) and I didn't even notice at first that in place of his left arm was a metal and fabric device that connected his shoulder to his bike, with an artificial elbow joint. I had just noticed that his brake levers were on one side, and then i was like holy shit wow. he had jumped a train as a kid and it turned out pretty badly but he was out shreddin.
