Best fork I've ever owned! Feels just like the 32 831 but a ton stiffer. Like almost now flex at all, and the ctd isn't too bad. I just pump it up to 150 psi, put it in trail on the stiffest setting, and it's perfect
Awesome! Just got the fork in last night and it looks sweet. Funny... I was already planning on running those same Bontrager G1 tires and an overture saddle on my build when I'm done. We'll have some of the same parts
It's last years XR1 (the only tire cam mccaul runs) that they changed the tread pattern for this year, but they're bringing it back as the G0. Same tread pattern as the G1 but the side tread is a little longer for more traction in the front, and I'm running a 2.4
Yeah ok I thought it was the GZero. I've been looking at it, too. According to the specs it's actually lighter than the G1, but I thought I read somewhere that the max pressure rating on the GZero is like 65 psi. Is that correct? The G1 is rated for up to 80 psi and that's why I like it so much. I like my tires really hard when I do street riding.
yeah I usually try not to exceed max rated pressure by more than 5 psi. And I don't usually run high pressure on dirt or trail. Just street. Just curious. Thanks.
24.25lb. Still gotta throw an XT brake on, and switch the random WTB saddle I had lying around to a chromag overture when that comes into stock. Weight should go up a pound at most I think
