me, I prefer to precut as much as possible before hauling lumber to the features l'm building. This is one way I do it... standard hand truck with the bits strapped down so they don't fall as l make my way through the woods. Most of the lumber we use is old deck lumber so its often filled with nails or screws. Carrying bits that haven't been precut can be quite cumbersome ... getting caught on branches, sticking into the ground if you're hiking up hill, etc. Of course there's long pieces you don't want to cut because your structure might need it... this method moves things along really quick since the curb side, drop off isn't an option when building wood features deep in the woods of where we ride. that wood you see there is about 12 feet worth of a skinny's riding surface
