 Maybe some 823:s with Hopes? Are you going 1x10? With those upgrades it'd be pretty sick

 Dont know about wheels yet, probably no to 1x10 still not strong enough to climb in a big ring. No problem the way it is got a guide and havent dropped a chain

 Okay, I just couldn't go back to a front derailleur myself. Just love the simplicity and looks of the 1x10. Something less to break, and it's a bit lighter too Then there's also that minor detail that the TR250 won't even accept one

 A tad on the soft side and I wish I had got the version with compression adjust but other than that I love it. Was going to drop it to 160mm travel but really can't be bother now as I'm enjoying a nice slack AM bike.

 Looks like it'd be so much fun, more suited to Christchurch too, so jelly of your hills, it's so flat in Auckland.

 Hahaha, I live in Rangiora now so it's still a 40min drive to the hills.
