 Still easton 35 carb' just replaced as I bent the stem. Cheers bud.

 hows the easton stem for bar installation? My foride stem has a similar system and its a pain to slide the bars in without wrecking the paint

 Piece of cake mate,the tip is to put stem on bars before fitting to fork.

 That helped a bit with the foride but still was a lot of work and scratched up the finish a bit, looks like a 35mm easton havoc stem with 35mm sixc bars are in my future now that my sessions sold, thanks

 I loved the standard sixc geo so should be comfortable on the 35mm stuff, havent some people found the 35mm havoc bars too stiff or something?

 People get this wrong,the wider diameter of the bar doesn't increase stiffness,they're the same as the previous 31.8 havoc,it just means the bar doesn't have to be as thick to achieve even more strength this makes the bar lighter than the old havoc,lightest bar period,but no stiffer.

 I know that was the case with raceface but I could swear I heard people complaining that there was no give in the eastons and were too stiff but whatever, glad you're happy with them

 Easton are just lighter and stronger.

 Actually the first run of Havocs were quite stiff. They re did the lay up to allow more compliance for the production versions.
