Its fine I could have used mild steel .188 1 3/8 and been overkill as well...I just needed a 1" inside diameter and couldn't find 1 3/8 tube mild steel so I did DOM 1.5 .250 wall for the 1" ID....
I'm going hydro assist so there won't be much force on the drag link at all...
