First impressions --- great bike.
Climbs really really well.... rolls along the flats super smooooth.... didn't really have any "hucks" to huck off so no comment yet there.... rolled through several, long, nasty rock gardens just as well as some of the big squish bikes and 29ers.... this bike, is stealthy, super quite //// no chain slap noises, no creeeekin', feels just as smooth as it is quite. had zero fear factor taking it down some of the steepest trails know to man.

pinkbike doesn't take well to long notes in any one box ---

will ping a few random reviews as l think of them.

Brakes -- l was actually quite surprised how dialed in they were right outta the box.
*** usually, it'll take a couple/few hours of riding before they feel strong. these felt great even though they had less then 30 minutes riding time on them.

shifting -- effortless --- also dialed in, right outta the box --- didn't have to touch a thing, shifting super smooth every time l had to shift.
geeez.... 24/38 X 11/36 TwoByTen --- holy crap, that's a silly low range for granny gear --- l should be able to climb trees with gearing that low.

FORK = MONEY!!! that's one nice fork.

tires = didn't find any reason to poo-poo them.

cosmetics = she's Purdy.. no doubt about it --- that helps you pedal faster cause people are always trying to knock you off and steal your bike.

weight = 31.8 as you see it right there. feels like a feature weight when you're riding it

didn't have the time or the place to really open it up ad haul ass for an extended piece of time --- in due time, will add comments on that. only thing note worthy --- BB is pretty low --- great for a low center of gravity but, there were a few times l pegged the pedals when l was slow speedin' it, in the saddle, making my way through some of the chatterville rock gardens. you'll peg pedals often just cause the trail is smothered with rocks, it just seemed that l peg'd rocks more often than normal. that's the kinda thing you learn as you continue to ride... muscle memory goes a long way. not concerned about it.

Oh and -- watch out when you're wearing Oneal motocross pants you can buy through Pedal Shop -- they're basically bell bottom pants, designed to fit around motocross boots that you can also buy through Pedal Shop (cause we're not just about bicycles you know) -- those bell bottom motocross pants that l wear when it's really cold are fanfrikinTaskic and even better, they zip-off at the knee making them shorts in a jiffy but, as bell bottom pants, the cuff tends to catch on the air valve on the shock every time the cold 27o wind is hitting you in the right direction... making it difficult to complete a full pedal stroke.

yeah --- need motocross products? we can support your needs with the Oneal brand. --- anything they sell, we can supply.... just not those hot models they use in their ads.
