 I had the same issue as shit loads of loctite was used , all you need is a small amount of heat to soften the loctite and they loosen Get hardened steel bolts so they don't round off and use copper grease on the threads not loctite

 there was no loctite on any of the bolts only guess it was due to over tighten or cross thred not sure which. and the bolts were rounded of before i got to them also thanks for the tip on

 the two bolts holding the black plates in place were torqued and rounded off. also just ordered new link plates and maxel from balfa uk as the silver ones were worn out

 you could have installed a bigger starnut. well, if you have new links it doesn't matter

 tried that. it would not budge
