nice rig, you were right m8, the bos devilles are fucking awsome, especially with the bos vip'r, love mine. Glad i made the change from full on dh rig to enduro!! Off to antur on sunday to see how it tackles a hardore dh track!!
Cheers fella, couple of changes to marry shniz together in the next week or so.
Really want the Vip'r - Enduro's have a crazy shock set up/size and I'm staring down the barrel of another £600 to buy one!!!!
Keep your eye's peeled, if you spot one give me the heads up.
Have a blast at Stiniog, was planning on nipping up earlier in the week, didn't realise they were closed every monday and tuesday. Rode Penmachno in the end, so not a great loss.
ye they closed then but you can book a private booking if there is enough people to cover fuel and wages which i think is about 10 people, just in case ya intrested one mon or tue. i did see a vip'r on ebay few days ago not sure if still there was up for £290 i think second hand. i not rode penmacho yet but im sure i will soon now i have a bike i can pedal uphill. take it easy bud.
Sick bike! Everytime I think I'm sick of Specialized (i've had a few over the last 20 years) I see a sick carbon Enduro and I fall in love all over again!
It certaainly feels pretty damned good, built it Saturday (Finally), then managed to get out for a few days on Monday and Tuesday. Trudged over to North Wales and absolutely F**kin loved it haha
Just want the final bits and bats to finish the build to hurry up and get here :-)
The Pitch was awesome, it just felt right, granted there are better bikes out there for a number of things including climbing but when gravity was in your favour the Pitch really came alive.
In short the Enduro feels very similar in terms of the ride, a bit bigger but very similar.
It just feels that little bit better at all of it, not by vast amounts, however it's lighter, stiffer, more precise, distinctly more controlled, definitely flickable/chuckable, etc.... there's no one thing that stands out, it's just that little bit better all round.
All of those little improvements make the sum of the whole probably the best bike I've ever rode.
Time will tell, the Pitch was amazing and I loved every minute on it for the last year or so, fingers crossed I'll feel the same about the Enduro.
