Shortened Manitou Sport Fork (1995) Only 1100 grams! WAY better than the stock Suntour fork at 1850 grams. Plus now it actually moves under my sons 55 to 60lb weight. Other mods to the bike brought the total weight of the bike down to 22 lbs. It started at 26.5 which is too heavy for a kid especially since we ride trails (with hills). A lighter rear tire and a better rear hub are all I would do to make it lighter.
