 I dunno who makes it. it might be from sears. ive had it for over twenty years, and only grease the shaft now and then. giggity.

 That's beautiful Obee, almost seems shame to cover it up. What sort of sound does it get? The grain is amazing.

 the skin will cover about a third of the wood. the sound is as sharp as any store bought drum, and while holding the sinew and striking the drum it resonates all the way up my arm. goat skin also provides a sound different to cow. the cow skin needs to be struck with a very soft stick, whereas the goat can be used with a bare wooden drumstick. the grain looks like tiger fur in person. its goofy.
