Once upon a time it was the stereotypical 'Foes red' with associated decals (white on black background with yellow 'trim' arcing to the front)...it was powder-coated as part of the deal to buy the frame (an extra 20 quid if I recall). The purists will probably 'turn their noses up at it', but I loved it then & I still think it looks fantastic today.
