It isn't too bad. I come here when I want to try out my suspension and enjoy some dry ground when everywhere else is snowy. This set of trails really flows if you are good at picking your line. The town actually maintains them as part of the public park. That means the drops are well built, and the berms are well maintained, but still there are random big sharp rocks I can use to launch here and there.
I've ridden these trails on a 5" diamondback sortie and a 7" Specialized Bighit, and neither was as fun as the remedy. I'd like to try them on a 26 remedy just to see how the big wheels are influencing the ride. It does feel more stable, but i am not sure if that is the placebo effect, the bike geo, the wheels, or some other magic.
My only concern is I bottomed out the rear shock twice on fairly small jumps, even though the sag is perfect for riding. The dcrv shock may need some more figuring out.
