Hey man, I'm looking at this bike or a reign advanced. Wondering if you can help me decide. What did you look at before buying? What type of riding do you do? Is 140 on the back enough to smooth out the rock gardens? Happy with this bike? Thanks for your time mate.

Hi. When I bought this bike I was looking for good climbing ability, the 1x11 does a great job and also looking for good descending abilities too. The 160 mm pike does that. This compared to my old trance 1 is a way better bike for me because it is built more beefier and can handle the same stuff a reign can. I rode all of my usual dh trails on this. The reason I did not buy a reign is because I have a glory and a trance. IMO a reign is a great bike for somebody who only has one mtn bike and only one.but me I got 2. So reign was out of the question for me

Awesome, thanks man. I'm thinking the Trance SX might be more suited to Wellington's tracks. There are a few that a Reign would be awesome on but most need something less. Good to know the SX can still handle some DHs. I saw the Glory photo after I sent you the msg and thought yup, he'll be taking that on the DH's!

j'en ai essayé un à Rigaud cet été. Malgré mon coté complètement vendu au DH, j'ai bin aimé le feeling autant de montée que de descente.
