if I remember right the fine in California for pickin' some one else's Avocados is like 5 grand...never liked them myself...

WHAT??!!! maybe for pickin' someone else's 420 or someone's CAR but, 5k for lifting an avocado? and besides, if you don't even like them, why would you even know this?

I was surrounded by Avocado groves in North County San Diego...one day my mother in law came rushing in the door, and said get a bag...a branch broke over the fence onto the road from an avocado tree...I was like, yeah, so what...then I learned about that law...ok to snag 'em in that case, but not on their side of the fence...
