Love the build man, makes me want to sell my carbon covert and switch over as well!

Also, since you just came off of a covert yourself, how does this bike compare on the climbs and descents? Thanks

I only switched as my covert was too small for me ultimately! The covert was a medium, this is a large, which iirc is larger than the large covert carbon anyway, had a bit to sort out with the rear shock but got it somewhere near dialled now, only had one decent ride but the thing climbs extremely well, this could be to do with the infinitely tuneable ccdba with the climb switch, However I'm not a big climber really, I don't think the bike descends as plush as a single pivot design but thats not necessarily a bad thing, its hard to say though as i only have one ride on it, however the covert was a killer descender, hopefully i can get some more bike time in a give a better answer, i must admit the slackened head angle is a bonus on the steep stuff!

I would but i can't justify the price when mine look like they've been used as a hammer! I just couldn't do that to a set of hopes! Id contemplate doing it to a 2nd hand set of xo's though! Need to get the new shock dialled, felt quite harsh/stiff/firm on my massive 2.2mile dog walk today, still got a kom and 2pr's though Big Grin

Haha, what's your strava? I always forget to switch mine on haha.

I love setting up sus/building bikes up. I reckon you need a little more blue on there.

Dunno, Just Andrew Neal on there i suppose, say somerset or minehead or summat, Trouble is as you know the CCDBA is a fiddly thing to set up and I'm not a pro at these things, but it has a very helpful guide so its quite handy for learning etc. Found it hard work peddling today, not sure if its the ks link setup, felt very dull compared to the single pivot on the covert, i think its to do with the rear shock tune though, I will consider more blue, i had some blue hope headset spacers i bought a while back but i wasn't keen on them installed so went back to trusty old black, The frame is a pretty extreme colour and i don't want to go mental with it, some blue F20's would be a touch though!

 Found ya! Mines Gary K.

Yeah they can be a bit of a pain, trial and error really.
Is there any base tune for the Rune on the CC website?
It could be partially the sus design, I know nothing I've ridden. compares to my Orange in how active they feel.
As for the blue, maybe seat post clamp? Is it as crazy bright as it looks?

It was a factory option shock that came on it and has a base tune already installed specific to the Rune with a High Volume air can installed, It's almost hardtailesque with the cs on, hardly bobs at all! So i've backed off the LSC a couple of turns to see if i can soften it up a bit, may go a few clicks HSC too, just needs softening up a bit and making more lively, Im sure its there though. Yeah it's proper sunglasses Neon orange! i kinda dig it though. Was all set for the Patrol, just couldn't decide in the colour but he gave me a deal on this i just couldn't turn down, especially with the shock option.
