Actually, you could just add a little knuckle at the end of the ramp, maybe another 2x4 nailed in, that would give you the extra boost.... more speed is always a solution!!

yeah -- the wood feature was just dropped in place --- we pulled it from another area which is no longer part of the fly zone.. we'll tweak it a lot before anyone hits it.
