I dont have any problems with the chain coming off, it hasnt fell off even once. Which is just as well because this bike cant really fit a chain device. What is an n/w chainring and can you get them in 5 arm compact size?
I didnt know 130mm bcd existed, i must be old school compact is 94bcd though so i wouldnt be able to get one that fits, one of those seat tube mounted guides is a good option, i just need to find one in 31.8mm
@Seraph: Depends, for normal 104BCD there are plenty of options, starting at €35 on CRC or €45 at your LBS. Don't think there are much options for chain guides for that price. Also this is lighter, less hassle / less things that can break or go wrong, and it works perfectly. Used mine for over a year and never dropped a chain, while my chain was already dropping every 20 minutes during XC rides with a normal single speed chain ring. Even rode bikeparks, dirt jumps and downhill with it, and not a single drop. But if his chain doesn't drop anyways, there's no need to change anything
@Sean-s-1991: Pretty sure I have 130 BCD on my Shimano Hollowtech II road cranks. I thought 110 was compact, so my bad about that.
Just wondering, how do prevent the chain from falling off? That doesnt look like a n/w chain ring.
