jayzus RaceBike...you're showin your age there waki! its funny, Racebike (together with Nicolai, but that goes without saying!) where probably my biggest inspirations when i began framebuildng in 2001-ish. the Ram is still i recon the single most unbelievable frame ever made

I started riding in 1998 and nerding on bike parts in 2001. That RB frame was very desirable back then, it looked different. I like industrial looks but I don't like banal stuff. This is not banal by any means, just like I still love Orange bikes. One thing is when something looks like made up from scrap found behind the warehouse at NASA facility, Oranges swingarm looks like they took it from thrusts of moon lander. The other thing is when downtube looks like a beam stolen from an average building site like on Morewood, or when Nicolai uses brute simple tubing and gets more welds than Bismarck.

How about that classic piece of epicness:

na you've got me there...the only person i could think of would be Mr. Magura. he's got all sorts of odd stuff like that. wouldn't it be easier to just weld them on?
