You don't look how I'd imagined!

Only kidding...how do you find the 29er...I'm contemplating a change of HT frame and not sure whether to stick 26" or go 29". Will be for local XC to compliment the Five!

Ha cheers dude, wife looks a bit better than me but only marginally ha.

I have been a little apprehensive of the 29er, initially I didn't like it, but since fitting some lighter narrower tyres I love it. The inbred is great value for money but heavy 31lbs out of the box which is heavier than my banshee spitfire. Going t get some lighter wheels, group set etc. over the next few weeks. The steel frame is quite forgiving so nice for long xc rides I do. I have done a 75k on it in original spec and whilst I nearly died the bike was pretty comfortable. With lighter wheels and the faster rolling tyres I have fitted I would think it would of changed the ride! I certainly prefer it for xc over 650b and 26"

Cheers, I asked as I knew you'd had a couple of Fives. I've been ridding the Blender a lot recently whilst I've been doing a bit of maintainable to the Five. I've been loving it but want something a bit more pedal friendly I'm just scared of loosing the playfulness!

Looking at Sherpa/Solaris but would have to lose the Blender Frown

They do feel slightly numb compared to smaller wheel bikes. But the extra speed gives a different aspect to riding. I wouldn't want it as my only bike. I bought the inbred as a beater to do everything but not worry about. I'm pretty happy with it in terms of doing the job.
