my breaks are Avid Elixir CR with Hope Mono Mini-M4 Saw rotors .thats shity about your bike getting stolen i hate that feeling . i love my 2011 Demo 8 . i just picked up a 2015 27.5 Demo 8 . road that a lil bit but winter is pretty much here so not riding anymore . but i loved it the 3 times i road it . demos are my go to DH bike . i had a 2012 kona operator more similar to the norco Aurum . it was a fun bike was a large good DH/ FR bike . but i have never road a Aurum . i would suggest a demo either way .

 www.pinkbike.com/buysell/1840790 So I picked this up last night for 15. ad says 2013 but the frame is actually 12. its a special edition tld. This was the first year tld did a demo. They only made 250 of them. The bike is in rougher shape than the ad states. I am still happy with it. I am by no means a tld fanboi ~ I think tld kit is for 1st and 2nd year joeys who still care that their kit matches. I do like how rare this bike is tho. Becuase of that I am going to restore the paint (all the chips and sticker kit) the bike is pretty beat up. fox 40 fork and RC4 are in good shape. rotors are bent and wheels need a truing. Also needs a new derailleur. I will post pictures as I get into the project
