Sweet! Big Grin How does it ride?

Best bike I have ridden so far. Big boost in confidence descending over my other Evil, even kept up with my friend who is usually quicker than me and in muddy slidy conditions. This bike also climbs better than something this slack has any right to. Pretty sure that I'm the limiting factor here.

Great to here! Yes, I know what you mean, I am obviously the limiting factor of my patrol too! lol
Yes, the new enduro style bikes all now have steeper seat tube angles making climbing a lot easier than it used to be on older bikes.

Now I've ridden this a bit with the slackest of the new enduro style bikes, I am quite curious to ride one with a steeper seat angle, like your patrol. Pretty that has a couple of degrees steeper seat angle than this Evil. Would be an interesting comparison I thunk.

Yeah, the patrol flies up the hills. Climbing is far easier than any bike that I have ever owned. If you just stand and look at the appearance of the bike, I wouldn't blame you if you didn't believe me. Big Grin

Yeah I think the same looking at my insurgent, it just looks "too slack" to be any good at climbing yet it makes mountain goats look slow. This climbs better than any other squishy bike I've owned, maybe my Uprising would be just as good if only I'd bought a longer one...

How squishy bikes have come on in just a couple of years.
