Evry time I see a picture of tthis bike, it makes me question my BFe. So I took it for a ride today and had issues... 3 hours for a loop that I have done in under 2. Only real issue with the bike is the front tyre which apparentyl doesn't like the local brand of mud. Biggest problem of the day was actually my super low fitness level haha! And the mud, that stuff was slowwwww rolling today.

I loved the BFe that we had, but I just felt that the geo was seriously dated and not suited to the way that any of us ride anymore. Plus being a large, it was like a garden gate.
As for the mud that we have round here, I am not sure that there is a rear tyre made to deal with it. However, the Magic Mary up front lives up to its name Big Grin

Yeah it was a bit to get used to swapping to the BFe after riding my Insurgent the last few rides.
I'm kind of half heartedly looking at other HT frames actually but really doubt I'll do anything about it any time soon.
Interesting you have that with your rear tyre, my New Nic didn't have any problems other than a grassy muddy climb.
Actually quite a bit better than the Hans (not so good in the) Dampf.
Magic Mary might be a good shout now you mention it...

Unfortunately, that is an old Nobby on the back. I haven't got round to replacing it yet. I have to say, I didn't get on hans dampf at all, but my son likes it on the rear with an MM up front.

I wouldn't mind an one really, I still have one knocking about which has been on about three bikes now. the HD rear MM front combo sounds like it would be pretty good to me since I had the HD on the rear paired with a Muddy Mary on the front which worked well in local terrain.
