I usually don't like Sportsters, but this really is a classy bike, Bro...I totally dig it- love what you have done to it...very cool

Thanks man! I always was a sportster guy... the big bikes are great for road trips, but I loved the dirt bike qualities of the early XLCH Sporty's and the Early K models.

@zapbranigon: I gotta admit, I've developed quite a liking to this one! Reminds me of something Evel Knievel would have jumped!

@FIVE8FIVE: Heck yeah man! The biggest jumps I've made have been over some railroad tracks... Did you see the world record jump on the XR1200 a couple years ago?

@zapbranigon: no, I missed that...I'll have to look that one up-

@FIVE8FIVE: It was cool, modern stunts lack the insanity and badassness of Evel Knievel and the early daredevils though.

That'd be awesome man! I saw the one dude I haven't seen in forever today while I was out and about. He has a bunch of half finished triumphs around, I'm gonna go check them out tomorrow or the next day. He has a 500 he was turning into a dirt bike I might scavenge and finish however I want.

@zapbranigon: sounds like heaven to me, choices of bike to build, they'd cost a fortune here, so collectable!

@baggyferret: They used to be pretty cheap here, but old triumph, bsa, and Yamaha 650 specials have gone up. All the hipster urban/retro riders want them now. You can still find some decent deals though, not a lot of pre units though.

@zapbranigon: same over here, most bikes are crazy prices now, even old clunkers!
