Aint it something? I read they only bloom at night and stay open for about a day, then wilt and die...I can't believe the size of it!

 @FIVE8FIVE: been watching nature programmes here of late, 'the magic of funghi' was damn good.. love me some nature, fascinated as a kid, equally fascinated now too! using funghi to break down harsh chemicals (nasty stuff) dumped into the ground.. with miraculous effect ..just days, needless to say, its awesome. must find relevant linkies and get back to you..
