JR homebuild e-bike from RHS

99% Finished!
Geez its fast - apparently I've had a 5 year olds Christmas grin on my face since I finished building it this morning.
Base Giant ToughRoad SLR 2 bike with following mods:
(boring bits first)
Front derailleur / shifter etc removed.
New rear Tektro Auriga e-brake
Haven ali bars
ODI Ruffians
Thomson 90mm stem
DMR Vault pedals
Conti Contact II 700 x 42c tyres

(now the fun stuff)
BBS HD mid drive
54v 14.5ah Luna battery
Lekkie Bling HD ring (42T)

Have only got one e-brake so far - on the back - Auriga is better than I expected to be honest. New front XT brake setup on its way......if you ever build a grunty e-bike - put good brakes on it - you'll need them!

I've got normal speed sensor (LH chainstay) + e-brake (Left, rear) hooked up to controller plus thumb throttle on LHS and gear change sensor (on RH chainstay).

Have setup for max 30 Amps giving max 1620 W @ 54v
Initial test rides had speed limited to 50 kph but was hitting that with 2 gears left, so have lifted it to 60.
Very, very cool to be able to just throttle up hills :)
