 @topsedit: I am kinda bummed that the Gold stanchions failed haha would have matched the kashima Razz

 @its-chris: in a perfect 'matchy matchy' world yes Chris! Matters little though in reality, she is ready to take the big hits

 @its-chris: do it more often than you'd do with regular bearings Smile At least that's what my buddy mechanic told his friend who had one.

 I think I will add 10mm of travel to the front sitting at 150mm at the moment

 @its-chris: go full 170mm Chris..
  • 1 0
 @topsedit: was thinking abut that too, wouldn't it be too much?
  • 1 0
 @its-chris: quite possibly Chris!! Geo at 160mm is probably more suited to your bike. You got spacers for 160? I know those forks go 150/170,didn't know if in 10mm increments (2x10mm,or one 20mm spacer?)

 @topsedit: I was thinking about splitting the 20mm one in half Razz but would be easier to try it at 170mm first haha

 @its-chris: get some rad dude to 3d print one up based on existing design? Must be a way.. 170mm great pointing down..Or bike park beast. You got the terrain for 170mm? As,this is your main ride bro?

 Thanks man, going to get it done raw, vinyl wrap the back end black because it's carbone and have purple parts, should be sick.

 @hairy-g: and warranty? Hell it will be a sexy beast!!

Can the chainstay be done in raw or all the rear is carbon?

Man purple and raw is so timeless, some metalic purple decals would be rad

 I'm not the original owner anyway but I have purchase documents from the guy i swapped the trek with. Fingers crossed it doesn't break haha. The chainstay could be too, might be a fair bit less hassle to just have a black rear end. I've a purple hope chainring and jockey wheels. Ordered some new decals for my saint cranks in purple, should be rad.

 @hairy-g: well you might be right! I doubt it would break, those are solid bikes!
Black rear will be nice then!
