Ya know, I've looked into the barrels of several cannons over the years, and really don't remember ever seeing another like this.

@zapbranigon: When we went it was cold and rainy...we were the only people there! Had the whole fort to ourselves to explore! It was awesome!!!
I speculate the spiral helps the ball to come out straight?
I never knew that it was that detailed inside a cannon.
