This is a true embarrassment. XC MTB originated as a self-contained rider/racer. Everything NOT road bikes. He/she was to be able to make minor repairs as needed. This is nothing but road biking on dirt. Sad. At least the courses are getting a bit more tech the last few years after a decade or more of sanitation.
