 That was the plan before I realized the 1-1/8 headtube! I got a sweet Sinz cruiser bar for it, but now need the forks!

 @FIVE8FIVE: How long of a steerer length do you think you need? I got a 1 1/8" chrome bmx fork, but I rubbed the chrome down with scotch brite and cut it down pretty far for my bmx frame.

 @FIVE8FIVE: 26" indeed. I bought um off eBay if mine are cut too short or ya want the full chrome look I can did up the seller and see if they got more too.
