Matt Ford, of Rock N Road, the bike shop in Irvine that hosted the ride and also one of the originators of the memorial ride, said "We haven't discussed the future of this event as of now. We would like it to continue as an annual fundraiser for his foundation. What I enjoyed the most is seeing the disciplines of motorsports and cycling coming together again for a great cause".
