Sunday if it's dry? I tarted her up as usual. She's now draped in lemon with a Nukeproof stem also. Pics coming up later. Any nice black bars you got for me?
@SEADEVIL: was going to ask you if you were going to change the stem as soon as I saw the picture. That answers that, can't wait to see if dude, I'm sure it will be killer!
@zapbranigon: Yellow stem a shade darker than the rest, but still happy. The yellow Gobi saddle may be changed for the Bontrager Evoke in black. Got the same 60mm stem coming for the Surly in black. Just as nice as a Thomson stem with nicer looking curves.
@baggyferret: Bit of both bro, 27.5 wheels, 80mm rims, 4in tyres. But....she's got stranglehold dropouts like the Stache, you can slide the back end 15mm forward or back, rear caliper stays inline also, run her long and you can run the exact wheels like the ICT, 26in x 5in tyres, 100mm rims. Two wheelsets/one bike. So you can say she's a 27.5 fatty. Like a baby ICT, lighter and stiffer, fast rolling and no rear wheel lateral flex under my weight. If I stayed 29er i'd stay with 2in tyres max...not the 3in plus. I like the gravel bikes bro, road bike with 47c tyres, and I can see one day, I'll get a road bike...Cannondale CAAD 10 I always wanted, or another Wilier. Next time you see a pic of the Trek she'll be blinged and bright lol.
@SEADEVIL: I do need some rear cushion or I suffer post rides, I can see the changes happening now with fatties, like fine tuning, this is progress, exciting for a change. Bikes for riders always gets my vote bro
