You are very right. This was the first 'serious' DH section we had to tackle. My little London-pussy-trails-hardtail got some serious beating on those hefty rocks. Could do with a full-sus really. But as the trails got dryer and I was getting used to the new and shorter forks, I've slowly started enjoying riding the rocky stuff and pushed harder.
Sunday was an absolute cracker when comes to heavier DH - will report shortly.
