of course he doesnt know anything about it...but in their time atx's were some of the best bikes going. to sell this your probebly going to get about £500-£600 (not guarnteed) it all depends on how and where you advertise it.

This was the next gen. of the ATX, and was Giant's first(and only) take on the VPP tech! This is quallified as that, because the two links holding the swing-arm rotate in opposite directions... This was not mass produced, because at the time it came out, was about the same time that OUTLAND BIKES(the orryginators of the VPP Tech., that SantaCruz now owns), came out with their take on this, and they patented it, and so Giant was forced to sceice production! I believe they even had to pay a premium to Outland for every one sold!

These bikes were said to be great pedalers(for their time), but were known for haveing alott of latteral flex, because of how close together the links are(a problem santacruz/intense have addressed, and fixed)! Alott of people also didn't like the skinny down-tube, as it seemed why would they put that on this huge-tubed main-frame, and it also got in the way alott! Alott of people also thought Giant took the "Lazy Way Out", as they used the stock ATX front end to attatch this what was suppossed to be an all new technologically advanced rear suspention design to! This led to some low reviews...

Don't sell it. well only if you must. if you want to change your bike just as an upgrade. ... I am not too sure what bike would be suited for that the task.
