Thanks! This bike has been my favorite, had it now for about 4 years and its held up well, great trail bike especially on techy stuff! How's your new bike going so far!? The fall colors are definitely showing a little in the lower Hudson Valley, but about 2 hours north of me its feels like its almost full swing. This year will be a interesting fall, with all the rain we had this year our forests are super dense, so fall should be insane.
@dirtyrig: My newest rig (HD4) is everything I thought it would be. I have ridden and owned almost every Ibis carbon bike since Scott brought them to the market. Dave Weagle came up with the DW-link which I think is currently one of the best suspension system there is. The DELTA suspension system that Kevin Walsh uses from Dave Weagle on the Evil bikes puts me in a lustful situation every year for one. Stoked that you ride one of these trail slayers. That bike looks happy to be owned by you.
@stoker1223: You have a good eye for bikes! Heard a lot of good things about the HD4, both climbing and descending. I love Dave's stuff and was a big fan of Iron Horse bikes many years ago, my trail bike back then was a Iron Horse MK3, with the dw link, and I loved that bike so much, rode it for 8 years! I ended up donating it to one of the local kids and he is still rocking it today!
@dirtyrig: Too bad IH went out of business. Great bikes in your backyard. i remember when Cully raced for them. He was an animal racing the Mammoth Downhill. Bikes now a days are so much better.
