i already have one juicy and i love it. it is way better than the hayes it replaced, it has great feel, and my LBS likes working on them because they are so easy to bleed.
Nice man. I spent ages trying to justify the cost of these. Then I read a review by MBUK saying they are a small improvement for a large sum of money. How do you find them?
I disagree. The geometry and shape are MUCH better for your hands. I'm sure you've experienced hand-pump on long days of descending. Doesn't happen NEAR as fast with these guys. The difference is noticeable. The profile is more positive and comfortable. The geometry is also MUCH better. They have a similar feel to the power-reserve geometry that avid uses. I'm sure people won't believe me but they actually improve the braking feel. Not to mention they are bombproof and PIMP.
I run the Dangerboy equivalent set on two of my bikes, with two different braking systems. The hand fatigue is greatly reduced, and I find the overall improvement in function makes any brake nicer. well worth the 90-100 $ if you log the hours.
That's about as far from true as you can get. They are very easy to work on and rarely require bleeding. The thing is there are lots of brakes that feel better.
