 What has happen?

OTB after unsuccessful jump over a line of those smaller bumps (I would normally just wheelie over them). My front wheel landed somewhere in between them, which resulted in me landing hard on right hand and breaking my wrist. It happened on October 8th and I am slowly getting back to riding now. Smile

@arczii: Haha, no I had some metal in there but they took it out 10 days ago. No ironman from me yet. Wink Mine was fixed ising just rods, they had to use 11 of them in there though. Doctor said they could not use plate as it was not doable with my kind of fracture for some reason. Yours looks like broken in the bottom side of your radius bone, therefore plate could be an option, mine was broken from the opposite side to yours - the top, not sure if they use plates when that occurs. You could feel the plate then, maybe it would bother you or something. I honestly don’t know but it feels good being metal-less for now.

@janci1236: The surgeon was satisfied after the surgery. He obtained the correct angle of the joint's work. Unfortunately, I lost 30-50% of the surface of the wrist joint. I got 80% of the wrist joint movement and this plate . They were supposed to remove it after a year or two, but now they do not want to do it. I do not have any pains, but probably everything is ahead of me. In 10-20 years it can change. I got really good time of MTB after that accident I've been riding for 10 years without major accidents. Only one small fracture of the smallest finger of the left hand, somewhere near Donovaly

@arczii: Injuries suck, I will very likely feel my past fractures later in my life too. Glad it worked out well for you, better enjoy living life to the fullest right now while you can then later when you might not. Injuries are part of the game, we have to accept that, and do not bother or minds too much with the fact we might get hurt. Happy new year! Smile
