shoulda used autocadd and imported it into 3ds
I did a stab supreme back in grade 10, managed to get detail all the way down to the odi ruffian grips having the right pattern on them haha XD
took me a solid month of modeling though ugh
this was like a couple hours of modeling, i just put on low detail shit so it would look somewhat finished on here, my main focus was the accuracy of the frame
thanks i did the glory cuz i love my bike and wanted something physically infront of me i could model, now i do all my designs on max first and make sure the linkage works fine before i fabricate them myself
niiice, I still think you should check out autocadd though haha, if you haven't already
it's a wonderfull design program, the plain rendering sucks though but you can import to 3ds so easily
ya i've worked with CAD, rhino, maya and i prefer max, i'm continueing my education to get my masters of industrial design then i can design cars and shit for nice big companies
alright that's fair, never used rhino though... and maya just... confuses me... 3ds is very user friendly... probly the reason I prefer autocadd is that I've had 3yrs of training on it haha =P
maya confuses the shit outta me too, i've been a max user since grade10 also and my university had everything, but max was the main one they taught design in, so 8 years of the same program its hard to make a switch
