If it were a Air pull shock, the thin end thats now at bottom, would be at top, and when the frame was compressed, you would see a rod pulling out the bottom that would look like the rod of a coil shock...
The rod running straight through to pull on the air-spring body, the same way a coil pull shock has it run through to pull on the spring...
The only pull shock still alive now, is the one on the Scott Xc rides.. check out my picture, I think I have a picture of my dad ride! And actually that is a really neat bike!!
